South African writer and political commentator Allister Sparks paid tribute to the outgoing DA leader Helen Zille during the DA Federal Congress on Saturday.
Sparks said he has known Zille for 44 years and seen her transition from a dedicated journalist to a good politician.
Sparks said Zille’s political trait can be liken to several smart politicians including Hendrik Verwoerd.
