The Inkatha Freedom Party, in accordance with the user-pay principle, supports the reduction in E-toll tariffs as announced by Deputy President, Hon. Cyril Ramaphosa.

IFP’s Chief Whip in Parliament, The Hon. Narend Singh, MP, said “We are not opposed in principle to the user-pay system; our roads require maintenance and upkeep and funding for this is not as is commonly believed, available from fuel levies. We welcome the reduction in E-toll costs. We are happy that public transport remains exempt from paying E-tolls.”
